Since September, 19, 2006 – the head of the organizational methodic administration department on securing of public prosecutors’ participation in the criminal cases’ consideration by courts. He became well-known after his participation as a public prosecutor in Michail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev trial, abounding in defects of proceedings and violations of human rights.

Born in Moscow in 1959, Mr. Nevzlin graduated from the Moscow Petrochemical and Gas Industry Institute. Prior to Immigrating to Israel in 2003, he served in high-ranking roles in both the private and public sectors in the Russian Federation. His positions included First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Bank MENATEP, First Deputy Chairman of the „YUKOS Oil Corporation“, President of the Russian Jewish Congress, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Rector of the Russian State University for Humanities.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky was born in Moscow into a working-class family on June 26, 1963. His parents were chemical engineers and spent their whole working lives at the Kalibr factory. Their income was low, so they lived in communal housing until 1971, when they were able to save enough money to buy an apartment of their own.
