    General Prosecutor’s OfficeOn the 13-th of July, 2007 the legal trial has passed to a new stage: there have started the hearings of arguments. The public prosecutors Kira Gudim and Kamil Kashaev have made an accusatory speech. They have demanded once again from the court to return Alexey Pichugin guilty on all the charges and to sentence him to life imprisonment in the colony of special regime.

    The GenProsecution appealed the decision upon Alexey Pichugin – on the 17th of August Moscow State Court sentenced him to 24 years of imprisonment.

    As it was made known to the lawyer of Pichugin Kseniya Kostromina, the prosecutors appealed against this verdict considering it too indulgent.

    On the 44th birthday of Pichugin the public prosecutor Kashaev required the court for him lifetime imprisonment | 25 Jul 2006


    Kamil KashaevOn the 25th of July, when Pichugin was 44 – this was his 4th birthday at imprisonment, — the trial reached a new stage: debates started.

    The prosecutor Kamil Kashaev made an accusing speech. She declared that, in the opinion, of GenProsecution, the court was presented with the evidence of creation by Alexey Pichugin, Leonid Nevzlin and „other unestablished persons of „YUKOS“ management“ of an organized criminal group. Kashaev called the court to appoint for Alexey Pichugin a penalty in the form of lifetime imprisonment in the colony of particular regime.

    Prosecutor General’s OfficeOn 14 of April the Prosecutor General’s Office brought new charges against employee of Oil Company UKOS Aleksey Pichugin. He was accused in the organization of one more murderer and two attempts.  The major shareholder of UKOS Leonid Nevzlin was called to be customer of crime.

    On the 30th of March YuKOS employee Aleksey Pichugin was accused of three charges and sentenced to 20 years of deprivation of liberty in a high-security prison.

    KOROVNIKOV Igor Olegovich was sentenced to life imprisonment with the confiscation of the property and to the endurance of the punishment in a correctional colony of special regime for committing a number of murders, rapes, sex offences, kidnapping, illegal manufacture of self-made explosives and other crimes.

    The Tambov Regional Court passed the sentence on the 28th of June 2000.


    In 1996 he was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment according to Clause 117 Part 3 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RF (torture of special cruelty). The sentence was suspended with a probation period.

    The Tambov Regional Court passed the sentence on the 26th of September 1996.

    KABANETZ Vladimir Nikolaevich was sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment with the confiscation of the property and to the endurance of the punishment in a correctional colony of strict regime for committing a number of murders, rapes, kidnapping, illegal manufacture of firearms and other crimes.

    The Tambov Regional Court passed the sentence on the 28th of June 2000.

    ERBES Denis Pavlovich was sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment with the confiscation of the property and to the endurance of the punishment in a correctional colony of strict regime for committing murders and other crimes.

    POPOV Pavel Aleksandrovich was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment with the confiscation of the property and to the endurance of the punishment in a correctional colony of strict regime for committing murders, kidnapping, illegal manufacture of firearms and concealing crimes.


    The Tambov Regional Court passed the sentence on the 28th of June 2000.

    SMIRNOV Oleg Mikhailovich was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment with the confiscation of the property and to the endurance of the punishment in a correctional colony of strict regime for the organization of the criminal conspiracy, the excess of official power and larceny.

    The Tambov Regional Court passed the sentence on the 9th of August 2002.

    Substitution of prosecutors | 17 Jan 2005


    On January, 17, 2005 it became known about substitution of accuser Boris Laktionov on prosecutors Evgeny Naidenov and Kamil Kashaev, famous with participation in other odious processes. Naidenov sought bill of particulars on „matter of Sutyagin“, beforehand having dismissed jury, trying to award verdict of not guilty to Sutyagin. Kamil Kashaev is noted for seeking of conviction on the matter upon the explosion on Kotlyakovskoe cemetery to a person who heretofore was completely discharged by the court.
